Terms of service

Until the formal terms take effect, the essentials:

• The software is free and open source under theMIT license — use it, self-host it, fork it.
• Using the app locally involves no agreement with us at all: nothing is collected, nothing is hosted.
• Accounts (for optional sync and sharing) are held by adults — the parents, teachers, therapists, and aides who set boards up. There are no child accounts.

The full draft is public in the repository:docs/legal/terms-of-service.md. It takes effect, with counsel review, before accounts open to the public.
